Ardagh Cross (C-159)

The Ardagh cross is found on the Ardagh Chalice which was discovered in 1868. Two men digging for potatoes, found a beautiful cup now known as the Ardagh chalice. This is the finest example of 8th Century metalwork ever discovered.
